​​We want everyone at First to come, to give, and to serve.
It's the normal and good thing.  Not everyone can serve in the same way.  But if you'd like to serve on one of our ministry teams, they are listed and described below along with the chairperson of each one.

Session:  Provide for God’s Word to be rightly preached and heard, for the Sacraments to be rightly administered and received, and to nurture the congregation in following Christ. 

Administration (& Building & Grounds):  Oversees Building and Grounds, insurance, and office.  To keep the church and grounds in good condition.

Congregational Life:  Helps connect us to one another through fellowship activities.  

Outreach/Mission:  To show the love of Christ to others both in our church and beyond its walls with service and financial support.

Music:  Provides musical inspiration and God's messages through singing and other musical instruments. 

Stewardship/Finance:  Educate the congregation about stewardship, run a stewardship campaign, and supervise financial procedures and reports. 
 
Treasurer:  Oversees bookkeeping/accounting, payroll, office equipment .

Thrift Shop:  Manages operations, volunteers, bookkeeping/accounting.

Worship:  To facilitate and foster the worship of God through His Son, Jesus Christ, under the direction of the Holy Spirit and to facilitate the understanding of God's words through Bible Study and educational opportunities.
