Music at FIRST
About our Music Director, Rochelle Sallee...
Rochelle embarked on her musical career at age 16. In Los Angeles, CA, she worked in the film and record industry, recording with such luminaries as Elmer Bernstein and Marty Ballin. Rochelle has worked as a soloist in Washington, California, Utah, Colorado and Florida. After moving east, her USA seasons have included concerti works, guest positions with Florida orchestras, and chamber music with internationally acclaimed violinists and others. She has performed piano 4 hands, piano/organ duets, and has also been giving solo concerts and programs throughout Florida. In Europe, Rochelle performed as a soloist with members of the Hungarian National Conservatory in Budapest. Her solo appearances span Northern and Central Europe, including Belgium, Germany, Norway and Italy. Here in the US, Rochelle performed with the Space Coast Symphony as a soloist and recently presented the Rachmaninoff 2nd piano concerto for a second time in Florida.
In addition to being a certified scuba diver, Rochelle is an avid aviatrix (she’s flown a Boeing 737-300). She holds Commercial and Flight Instructor pilot certificates and has over 3,000 logged skydives. Rochelle is also the proud mother of Charlotte, a talented welder and Florida based artist.

We need Librarians and non-musician helpers. Become a Music Angel Donor towards choral Anthems, Guest Musicians, or Instrument Care.
